Lads - Darktime & Food Bank depository

Message from Pam Johnson.

Darktime
is an exciting and spooky play for all ages, set in a dark, dangerous and mysterious cave, just like the one on Llanymynech Hill. An original production by local author Neil Rhodes in collaboration with the Roleplay children's drama group run by Helen Chapman

LADS` is www.lads-online.co.uk for information for forthcoming productions.

Oswestry Foodbank
There is also a big collection in our church every Sunday. (Our Lady’s, Brook St, Osw). They are inundated with baked beans!!! I know it is the first thing you would think of, swiftly followed by pasta and tinned tomatoes.

However, organisers particularly ask for packets/tins of fruit and vegetables, potatoes, peas, carrots etc. – in the hope that they may go some way towards to 5-a-day, and SMASH or whatever the dried potato is called.  A couple of extra tins in our trolley each week does not break the bank.
