                                                                                                                        |                The perfect Father's Day outing!   The magnificent estate at Henley Hall, on the outskirts of Ludlow, will be open for the National Garden Scheme this Sunday, 21st June - Father's Day.   What better place to meet up with the family, enjoy a picnic together   and appreciate this historic landscape? Henley Hall offers a mixture of   formal and informal gardens. The historic elements include a formal   lawn, stone staircase with balustrades and a ha-ha, mature specimen   trees, a walled garden, 'pulmonary' water feature and yew hedges.   Highlights include walk ways along the banks of the river Ledwyche with   decorative weirs and a stone arched bridge, and woodland paths. The   garden will be open from 12 noon on the Sunday.  Plants will be on sale   and there is plenty of room for picnics.     To   comply with current regulations, tickets need to be booked and paid for   in advance at the NGS website or by clicking on the link below:                      |                                                                                          |                                |                                                                             |                The wonderful Secret Garden in Ludlow   Also, in Ludlow this weekend, the wonderful Secret Garden at 21 Steventon Terrace will be open on Saturday 20th June from 12 noon.   ½-acre of very secret south facing garden, developed over 30yrs with   enthusiasm creativity and the love of gardening by the present owners.   Divided up into different sections: rose garden, herbaceous borders, koi   fish pond with gazebo, summer house, poly tunnel and chickens.   Mediterranean style terrace garden with views of the Shropshire hills.
