Cruckton Ploughing Match

CRUCKTON PLOUGHING MATCH

David Morris is hosting this year's Cruckton Ploughing Match   It's always a great event and an ideal opportunity as it's on our doorstep.

David hosted the Match back in 2010 and hopefully the weather will be as good on Saturday as it was in 2010! Vehicular access will probably be via the small road that runs from opposite Middle Farm Shotatton to Weirbrook, but it's close enough for many of us to walk or cycle.

RAF Shawbury are planning to send a helicopter for a static display from 9.00am to 11.30am (weather dependant) and I've just been speaking to the pilot to make arrangements. He will be available to show people around the aircraft and to answer any questions that visitors may have.
