LUNCH CLUB CANAL TRIP
this year is this Friday, 4th September
Only a couple of members are coming - the rest went on earlier trips.
So I have seats to spare for up to about 6 people.
Better to have a fairly full boat than an empty one.
Seats are £6 each.
We leave Lyneal Wharf (near Welshampton) at 10:00am and have lunch at the Narrowboat Inn at about 1:00pm
We leave the Narrowboat at about 2:30 and get back to Lyneal for about 5:00
Timings depend on traffic - there is no overtaking on our canal.
Alternatively, some may prefer to bring a packed lunch instead of eating in the Inn - that's fine.
It is a very peaceful and slow trip, passing Blakemere and Ellesmere and then Frankton Locks (we don't go through the locks)
It would suit anyone of any age who would like a quiet day.
